2001Stroker Posted February 5, 2009 Report Posted February 5, 2009 Trinity originally built this motor 5 years ago. It has an original 72mm bore, as evidenced by the 72 marking on the powervalves. Word. Didn't know you had an older cylinder. I was under the impression that you were starting from scratch. I guess they quit making it. Quote
SLORYDER Posted February 5, 2009 Author Report Posted February 5, 2009 (edited) That's gonna be one heck of a duner!   Edited February 5, 2009 by SLORYDER Quote
tony cub Posted February 5, 2009 Report Posted February 5, 2009 I know it's a little off topic, but you can't get a 521 Cheetah. I'm building a 10mil Cheetah myself, and I thought you could get them with a 72mm bore, but you can't You have to get a 73mm bore, which makes it 535. That's what I had to do. super cub is a 72mm bore Quote
alcoholbanshee Posted February 6, 2009 Report Posted February 6, 2009 You can get them in a 72 bore still. You just have to talk with the right builder. Quote
SLORYDER Posted February 6, 2009 Author Report Posted February 6, 2009 Bump for more feedback on builders Quote
dajogejr Posted February 6, 2009 Report Posted February 6, 2009 Jeff @ FAST is fine. Don't waste your money on a billet tranny, billet crank, billet 2nd or straight cuts. Get a TZ bearing for the PTO side. The HP you're shooting for (which should be achieved with NO problem) doesn't warrant any of that. If you were gonna spray a 30 to 40 shot to it, then I'd think about a billet 2nd, or straight cuts if you had to mod the gear ratio. If you're interested in that dunable override, PM me. Quote

dajogejr Posted February 6, 2009 Report Posted February 6, 2009 Nope...so when you're moving around on the bike they don't flap like bird wings.... Drive around with your car doors open...you'll get my drift. Quote
