I am trying to help a friend raise an '89 shee from the dead. He has no front brakes on the bike. He does have rotors on it. We have a newer front master cyl, brake lines, and newer style calipers off of a 2000 banshee.

Any ideas of how to make this work? I think if I had some older style calipers then that would solve my problem but I feel they will be hard to find.

Could I swap the knuckle/spindles out for a newer style knuckle/spindle setup so the newer brakes would fit?
