got a set of tms38 mikuni carbs. they don't have pilot jets, the needles have a tapper at the bottom for the pilot circuit. has anyone tried to use these on a banshee? if so how do they work?

I think they are tmx because i run 38 mikuni tms and they have pilot jets

There is a difference between the TMX and TMS. The tms carbs do not have pilot jets....I used a set way back in the day. They worked good. The only thing I remember is you have to have the correct needle, like a Lectron. That is the key to tuning them...LOL. I think I still have some needles laying around..........

If you don't mind me asking, what's your set-up and do you remember what needle you had in them. The needle i have is the richest they make according to the sudco book. I didn't want to spend the money on a new intake if the carbs didn't work but it might be worth a shot.

When I had them on..it was a drag ported stock cylinder.39mm tms carbs, Grand River outta frames........ I dont remember what needles I used......
