JEFF C Posted January 20, 2009 Report Posted January 20, 2009 i order the wrong year CDI,!!! the OLD one has the square plugs,and the NEW one has the round plugs,can this be rewired just by cutting the OLD plugs off and soidering them to the NEW CDI?????Hoping someone has come across this screw up before!Thanks from Canada Quote
sleeper06 Posted January 20, 2009 Report Posted January 20, 2009 You can do it,make sure you use good heat shrink,prep it with tinning flux so u dont have to kill it with heat use good solder i like sterling 40/60,I cut harnesses all the time Quote
