Well I'm proud to say I just purchased a 2003 Banshee. Shee is mint. It has FMF pipes and silencers, but my question is... what should I do first as far as mods go. What should I expect, as this is my first Banshee. I have a Raptor 700 and KFX 700, but this is my first two stoke since I was 12 and had an RM80 dirt bike. What problems should I expect and what are the best maintenance items to keep up with. I also want to know what the TORS system is and should I / how do I remove it.

I have tons of questions and I look forward to everyones input.

Thanks,

Woody

First off welcome to the HQ

Well you already have pipes so the first few things your should do are porting to match your type of riding (trail riding= aggressive trail port, dune riding=dune port etc.) then a cool head with smaller domes for higher compression, adjustable timing plate and port your stock reed cages and get aftermarket reed petals.

THe TORS is the biggest POS yamaha has invented... do a search and youll find how to get rid of it. As far as maintance just the usual stuff... greesing bearings and what not, chain lube changing tranny fluid etc.
