92 Z71 Posted January 19, 2009 Report Posted January 19, 2009 I've been putting my shee back together and bought a pivot bolt from RIS, but it's too long. does it matter? Should I use a spacer on one end of it or try to take it back from where I got it? Here's a pic so you can see what I'm talking about. Quote
Bansh-eman Posted January 19, 2009 Report Posted January 19, 2009 you should have a thick washer on both sides of the bolt that will takeup that extra length Quote

The washer it came with will only fit over the threads, it won't slide over the shank. I think I'm gonna try to put more threads on it and cut it down a little. Quote
Bansh-eman Posted January 19, 2009 Report Posted January 19, 2009 you can just go to the store and buy a run of the mill washer that will slide over it and toss on the other side. would be alot more simple then cutting more threads Quote
