I've been putting my shee back together and bought a pivot bolt from RIS, but it's too long. does it matter? Should I use a spacer on one end of it or try to take it back from where I got it? Here's a pic so you can see what I'm talking about. pivotbolt002.jpg

you should have a thick washer on both sides of the bolt that will takeup that extra length

Really? The washer it came with will only fit over the threads, it won't slide over the shank. I think I'm gonna try to put more threads on it and cut it down a little.
