timing question

ok done a search but didnt find any help....

seen alot of ppl using a +4 timing plate..now ive seen a advanced timing KEY which is +3 which they say gains you 1.5hp

what hp gain will you get from the plate??

and whats the diff with using the plate or using the key?(besides the plate gives you +4)

the key will fix the timing at +3 and can't be easily changed, and not adjustible. the timing plat can be adjusted, unless you get fixed +4, but can be modified to be adjustable. they work the same, but if you get adjustible one, your timiong is not perminant

ya man ide get the plate that way you can adjust you timing if you want to run race fuel turn it up a bit but with the set one then you cant adjust it if you want you can get an adjustable one on ebay for around 45 bucks thats what I would do

You can also take a small round file to the holes on your stock plate and get 4to5 degrees out of it.
