RollinRhino Posted January 7, 2009 Report Posted January 7, 2009 Did the search and nothing is identical to my setup but from what I gather 28s are not a whole lot different except you have to run aftermarket reeds to let the engine breath. (not a necessity if you don't care about performance) Pro Circuit Pipes, Open air box, 28 mm Mikunis and soon Boyesen Pro Reeds (carbon fiber reeds) . what should be my jetting? Elevation here is probably 500 ft above sea level. Quote

RollinRhino Posted January 7, 2009 Author Report Posted January 7, 2009 I traded for mine. Not sure what the value of them would be. They are clean and were kept in good shape. Quote
Snopczynski Posted January 7, 2009 Report Posted January 7, 2009 which 28mm carbs? Flat slides, rounds? Quote
Snopczynski Posted January 7, 2009 Report Posted January 7, 2009 Be close to the stock carbs you ran with maybe a few larger main jet size at the most. Quote
RollinRhino Posted January 8, 2009 Author Report Posted January 8, 2009 I'm close. Dude I got these from is bringing over a jet kit with fatter needles. She'll be running right soon. I have to get some reeds for this thing though. Not much sense in leaving the stock setup. Quote
