TORQUEDFORD Posted January 2, 2009 Report Posted January 2, 2009 I am going to Gordons Well / Glamis in February for the first time. My elevation here is 4600 feet, I have 18cc domes on pump gas and timing is adjusted up 5 deg. What domes do you Californy guys run on pump gas, do I have to back my timing down? Im thinking 2 steps up on my mains. Going the week after Presidents Day, hopefully won't be too crowded, Will I need to sleep on my Banshee to keep it from disappearing in the middle of the night? Wildcardracing Posted January 2, 2009 Report Posted January 2, 2009 Your going to need to go with 21cc domes for pump fuel at sea level. Quote
jamebo Posted January 3, 2009 Report Posted January 3, 2009 +1 on the 21cc domes. I'm close to sea level with 21's and I've got 155 psi in my cylinders. Any smaller on the domes and I'd be looking at a mixed fuel. Quote
