Dave Dm Posted December 24, 2008 Report Posted December 24, 2008 Hi everyone new to the site .Have a problem with my rear caliper Ive been reading all the problems other banshee owners have had but mine is some what different .It started with the caliper just sticking on and blueing my disc so i removed it checked the piston and greased the slider pins .attached the caliper thinking it was fixed but oh no now the caliper just trys to bend the disc when the brake is pushed as if the sliders arent working but they do and the piston is fine to .been trying allday so if anyone could help it would be great :mad: Quote

This is a great site and all the people here are very helpful! It soulnds like to me that your caliper is binding some how. If it is bending your brake rotor when you push on the pedal then your slides are not sliding for some reason. Are you sure when you put the rubbers back in your slides you didnt get one of them wadded up in there? Quote

Hi thanks for the help ive had it apart about 5 times and everytime it does the same i just dont no what to do its got plenty of grease but they wont slide sounds stupid doesnt it .ive been trying to find out what it is so i can source the parts to fix it but things are expensive here in the uk not many second hand parts avaialble Quote
