I hear a lot of different opinions on their performance. :pinch:

Some say all around pipes,

Some say Mid range pipes,

and some say Top end pipes.

I want a strong mid range pipe that will give some extra low grunt and still let me tweak out the RPM. Is there something better for trail riding or should the Fatty's do the trick?

whoever said fmf's were topend pipes is a joke.. sorry but yeah. i have em on my bike and it has massive low end and mid power.. kinda loses top but it revs out just fine.. they are great all around pipes imo.

I like my pipes but I also have only riden stock, T6 and these.

Here is FMF's description http://www.fmfracing.com/default_detail.as...oss&cat=100

I've been wondering if there would be an advantage to have the SST or Gnarly or PT mids to the Fatty's .... Or would I even notice a difference????

i have fattys right now and they are totally a mid. they do have low but not like a four poke. as for top, they dont rev out like T5's but they are good for normal rideing. i trail and dune so the work great for inbetween

I have them on my bike also. I ride mostly trails and do some hill climbs. When i got mine i noticed it in the low and mid range. I like them for what i do with my shee. I havent had any other pipes so some other people might give some better advice about them.
