01rippnshee Posted December 8, 2008 Report Share Posted December 8, 2008 Hey guys first i love the site its sick. well im getting another banshee and ive had a few and did like pipes and stuff but never purpose built one. i wanna build a mx trail based bike but mainly i wanna try to get it to have some more low end power what set up would help me do that. all the banshees ive had b4 screwed but they werent shit in the low end which i know thats how they are kinda but i wanna pull some more low end outta it any suggestions Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Trick2stroke Posted December 8, 2008 Report Share Posted December 8, 2008 More compression, more timing, porting, stroker, low-mid end pipes, powervalve conversion maybe more displacement, 2-1 carb. Anyone or all of these will increase the low end grunt. To a certain point some say the 2-1 carb isn't neccisary and you can run dual 33's or something in that neiborhood but no bigger than 35. Trick2stroke Posted December 8, 2008 Report Share Posted December 8, 2008 I HIGHLY reccomend the -2 swinger. Don't over look this suspension mod. lilmegill727 Posted December 10, 2008 Report Share Posted December 10, 2008 lonestar makes the outlaw frame and they dont make it anymore. also laeger makes the protrax frame which is even better and a member on here is selling the whole chassis for not bad of a price.
