hercalmighty Posted November 25, 2008 Report Posted November 25, 2008 4/1 is 4inch on the inside 1 inch on the outside. 3/2 is 3 inches on the inside 2 inches on the outside. Quote
MikeNick Posted November 25, 2008 Author Report Posted November 25, 2008 4/1 is 4inch on the inside 1 inch on the outside. 3/2 is 3 inches on the inside 2 inches on the outside. So 4/1 will make it wider than 3/2...Is the stock wheels like 3/2 Quote
hercalmighty Posted November 25, 2008 Report Posted November 25, 2008 If you turn them inside out. Stock is 3/2. Imagine looking down on top of the wheel and seeing were the wheel center is in relation to the center of the wheel. If you have a 5 inch wheel center would be 2.5 inches. 3/2 makes it 2 inches on the outside of the rim(the side you see) 3 inches on the inside of the rim(the side you dont see) 4/1 moves the center futher to the outside so you have 1 inch on the outside and 4 inches to the inside. So a 3/2 would be wider then an 4/1 unless you flip the 4/1 around Quote
