speed-racer Posted November 24, 2008 Report Posted November 24, 2008 I have YFZ450 a-arms and shocks with the factory banshee spindles, hubs and brakes. I have a set of yfz450 spindles that I would like to swap over. Does anybody know if my banshee hubs, rotors and brakes would swap over to the yfz450 spindles? I thought that there were some issues with this swap, but can't remember where I saw that. Quote
f4istunna Posted November 25, 2008 Report Posted November 25, 2008 i dont think it will swap right over. I have a set of extra banshee hubs here and a spindle from my raptor Ill check them today if i remember and see if the hub fits over the spindle good. Im not sure how the calipers would line up either ill see if i still have an extra caliper laying around. Quote

Trick2stroke Posted November 27, 2008 Report Posted November 27, 2008 I remember reading that they will not, not the hub but the caliper will bolt up fine. I'd suggest just springing for the yfz hubs and calipers and sell your banshee spindles ect.. I think the benifit is a little more susp. travel and obviously much better braking with the dual piston caliper. Quote
