sangheraent Posted November 12, 2008 Report Posted November 12, 2008 I just bought a cool head but I need to buy domes I dont know what size to go to. I am at sealevel I have 120psi in one cylinder and 115psi in the other. I want to run pump gas. I was thinking 20cc domes but I dont know for sure is there any type of calculation that I can use? sangheraent Posted November 12, 2008 Author Report Posted November 12, 2008 how much compression does a freshly rebuilt banshee generally have? Just want to get an idea of where my engine life is around Quote
OKCterror Posted November 12, 2008 Report Posted November 12, 2008 whats the bore, pist size, any port work? Quote
sangheraent Posted November 12, 2008 Author Report Posted November 12, 2008 its not ported and I dont know the bore and piston size i can check that in the next couple days. Quote

I would honestly recommend 21's at sea level. At sea level on a fresh setup stock head w/no portwork you should be in the 130 to 135psi range with an accurate guage Quote

Im not installing the domes until I have it ported. Im low on cash like I cant afford to go to a 4mill but I am anyway Im a student. whats your opinions on rebuilding or not? Quote
