pittss1c Posted November 4, 2008 Report Posted November 4, 2008 I am going to try some different pipes. They are currently painted black, and I might repaint them. Has anyone tried the Duplicolor Blue High temp paint on a blue banshee? I am curious how it turns out before I start painting. Quote
wayfast1500 Posted November 5, 2008 Report Posted November 5, 2008 Ive used the black paint, it works well just make sure you prep it good. Quote
OKCterror Posted November 5, 2008 Report Posted November 5, 2008 same here, i actually sandblasted mine then ruffed them up, hit with high heat primer then 2 coats of bbq grill paint(goes up to lke 500*+) then let dry and installed. Had a buddy who powder coated them and another guy i know used that race insulater wrapping. Quote
pittss1c Posted November 5, 2008 Author Report Posted November 5, 2008 I have read some threads and websites about how to do it, and what the quality of the result is. I am interested in knowing how the Blue colored duplicolor high heat paint looks with a blue banshee. Is the color mismatch annoying, or is it close enough? Mike Quote
OKCterror Posted November 5, 2008 Report Posted November 5, 2008 spray something and hold it next to the bike, take a pic and let us see it Quote
