Twistedtrik Posted October 27, 2008 Report Posted October 27, 2008 Decided to check my jetting ( haven't checked it since I bought it ) and compression. My compression is 122 and 123 cold. My mains were 350's and I know that is wayyyyy too rich. My list of mods are as follows. CPI inframes Pro Flow intake and filter (no box at all ) +4 timing Everything else is stock, no porting or anything. I am at about 4800 ft. in elevation. Please get me close, I have read posts over and over and can't seem to get a real straight answer on where to start. Quote

I would drop down to 300 on the mains and start from there. 27.5 on the pilots and needle clip in the middle groove. You are pretty high on your elevation, so I'm sure you will need to drop your mains a few more sizes. But that should get you close. Is it running rich, or do think 350 mains just sounds to rich for your setup? Every motor is different. It might like the big mains. Quote
Twistedtrik Posted October 27, 2008 Author Report Posted October 27, 2008 No it's running rich, smokes pretty bad even when warm and the plugs are only 2 rides old and were black and oily. It runs okay, but I can tell that it's way rich and should run alot better. Quote
