bansheejoel Posted October 23, 2008 Report Posted October 23, 2008 I found out after i broke in my shee that your not supposed to use a full synthetic oil when breaking in the engine. Well i used klotz r50 and now am thinking about re-ringing it for next season. I have about 125 psi in both cylinders with my head milled .020. Would you bother doing it or keep it as it is? It runs like a top. thanks Quote

mopar1rules Posted October 23, 2008 Report Posted October 23, 2008 broke in my shee w/amsoil dominator and had no issues w/the rings sealing. Quote
J-Madd Posted October 23, 2008 Report Posted October 23, 2008 Opinions (and theories) on break in methods and what oil to break in with area a dime a dozen. I've broken motors in on both oils and used different methods and don't know what difference it made on the track or longevity of the motor. Quote
