mooney Posted October 23, 2008 Report Posted October 23, 2008 I kind of stumped 2 dealers so I don't feel all that dumb, but I can't believe it's this hard to find the right throttle cable. I need a new throttle cable and I ordered the stock 97 one from the dealer. Well it was nowhere close to what was on my ride. I guess I have something aftermarket. My friend tells me it's a flat slide type, but doesn't know anything else. The carbs say SUDCO on them and from my internet research they look like they may be TMX but not sure what size (no markings telling me what size on the bodys). Does the size matter when ordering the throttle cable, and where can I order it? The local shops seem to be clueless and the online pics only show a single cable not the 1 into 2 style cable. Anyone care to tell me where I'm missing the boat? I'd really like to get some riding in this weekend, but looks like I'll have to wait on ordering this darn cable BTW - My 97 is an ALBA Racing version if that helps. Mooney Quote
sinisterboo Posted October 23, 2008 Report Posted October 23, 2008 Far as I know, you just need a Motion Pro brand cable for a banshee without TORS...... Call Jeff at F.A.S.T and he can get you exactly what you need..... Quote
