I was wandering if any of you guys go out to a new dirt drag strip in west virginia its called TOMAHAWK, there next race is october 12 and there is a big 1000$ bracket race on the 26 of october, and if any one goes can you tell me how the track is b/c its my first time at that tra. thx

i also would like some details on this track if any1 can....i race at r&r dragway in dunlow wv and some at littlesandy in ky

 

this is the 1st i have heard of the tomahawk track,might not be to far of haul for me...

well I'll put it like this... its a million times better than BBDR and faster too, but its got its down sides.

 

they use the mini mini tree from BBDR (.5 tree instead of .4)

the right lane is too close to the embankment of trees

and the last 50 ft is a little down hill

I did go out to the drags today and the track was nice, I did run faster then out at BBDR but that track is exactly 500ft and Blair Bedford Dirt track is about 530-540FT long. And i will be going Back out on the 26th for that 1000$ Bracket race. Also another thing is the light seemed slower than BBDR lights, that kinda meesed me up b/c im used to the lights going faster.

sorry for being a little off topic but are those what the 18x4 fronts look like on a 5 inch rim on the blaster???

NAA BBDR is 530 it is longer then the track out at west virginia, that is the reason you can run faster times at Tomahawk in West virginia

They use the same lights as bbdr does and the trees are plenty far away, its a really nice track and the people are super nice.

To be honest with you i dont think BBDR is quite 500ft like tomahawk is, bbdr is 400 and some feet.

NAA i help out at the track and help to fix the track before races and i was there when they measured, it the track is around 530-540ft long, and you can just tell when you go down the track that it is longer. because when i went down the tomahawk track for the first time it was shorter. but over all i liked the track, but the other downfall is there shutdown lane isnt that long. Because my step dad took his gs960 down and had a hard time stoping it.
