ok so i went to el mirage lake bed on sunday and i went on some trails and my shee ran great, then we hit the lake and i gunned it and 1through4th gear were storng as hell but as soon as i hit 5 and sixth it bogged like crazy and then suddenly died on my, tried to turn it back on and it makes a squaking noise coming from sounds like the crank? i took it appart and one of the pistons had some chips on top of it as well as the head, but the spark plug wasnt broken or anything, i put some oil on both sides of crank, and put it back together and it started, but some noise is coming form the crank as if the bearings on the rods were messed up , and i did notice one side kinda looose and the other nice and tight? and i started it up after putting it back together , and it smokes like crazy so now im thinking that maybe it doesnt supppose to have oil in the crank??????? do you guys know? and are the rods suppose to have any looseness to them? i need ur help guys? thanks for any input guys and im really sorry for the long story lol

you can send it to a builder and have it done, that way they can weld the pins and true the crank ... if its a stock crank you can buy a used one with very little hours n it for dirt cheap. they go for 75 bucks all day long

well i dont really have the money to get it fixed proffessionally, but am intreasted in replacing the crank and getting it welded, so do u know if it is suppose to have oil down in the crank? cause it was bone dry when i first opened it up?

all the parts should have a oily film on them from the premix but a 2 stroke does not owrk like a normal car motor where the crank sits in oil and uses it to lube everything

on a 2stroke the oil is mixed in the gas and thats where it gets it lube
