907banshee Posted August 26, 2008 Report Posted August 26, 2008 why are vforce/boyceen reeds better than stock what are the advantages?? Quote
quad4914 Posted March 20, 2009 Report Posted March 20, 2009 The vforce have more tip area that gives a quicker throttle response. Over all they just flow more air than stock which helps topend. One I believe but have never heard adressed is that they take up more space in the case which reduces volume in turn making the charge blow through the transfer ports with a little more force. In a time not to long ago the factory teams practiced a term called case stuffing. They would use a thin coat of epoxy on the inside of the case to reduce case volume to get more of the intake charge into the cylinder rather than hanging out in the case. My 2 cents anyway Quote
