The vforce have more tip area that gives a quicker throttle response. Over all they just flow more air than stock which helps topend. One I believe but have never heard adressed is that they take up more space in the case which reduces volume in turn making the charge blow through the transfer ports with a little more force. In a time not to long ago the factory teams practiced a term called case stuffing. They would use a thin coat of epoxy on the inside of the case to reduce case volume to get more of the intake charge into the cylinder rather than hanging out in the case. My 2 cents anyway
