  1. I know the option isn't up there but I prefer the factory manual. It gives you more specs on parts.
  2. That sounds like a real good idea. With the tight tolerances that come with precision parts, a difference of 0.001" could make all the difference. I would say, but I am not sure, the carb body itself is casted and the slide would appear to be forged. Either way, if they are not made from the same molds or tools and dies every time, it is possible to have differences between the same parts. Being that I have worked in the casting and forging industry, I have seen this happen on more than one occasion. :twisted:
  3. I wonder if the problem could pertain to certain banshee's with certain V.I.N. numbers. You would think if one had the problem, they all would. I have gone through some pretty deep water and never had a problem. Just a thought. :twisted:
  4. Fixitrod: Have you tried waterproofing all of your electrical connections?
  5. I think that your best bet is to get the matching set. I don't think that it matters if you buy them seperately but when buying machined parts, its always a good idea to buy the two as a matching set instead of them seperately. That way they are more likely to mate up perfectly.
