  2. Sorry for long post....Make sure you know the terrain when riding lakes..I didn't.. I just bought my first trailer last Monday. So Tuesday I get all set to go riding with two friends on the chain o' lakes . This is my first time riding on ice and they said that I had nothing to worry about except some very small open spots. After 3 hours of the best riding I've ever experienced it came to a fast end. We were haulling a** and the lake was totally frozen so I got cocky flew ahead of them then looked back and they were nowhere behind me. Little did I know where I stopped to look back was just before a channel. I took off to the left to turn around to find them and splash. I f'in flipped out and jumped off the machine and got on solid ice. Real good thing was the water was only up to my waist. I had to go back in and drag the sled closer to the ice edge and then go back in 2 more times to free the skis up while people helped pull it up on the ice. Got it back home and it was all froze up. Finally thawed it out over night with heaters in the garage and got the engine yanked. I am now trying to flush out the engine of all water and silt/dirt that got all in the crank case. I've been flushing it over and over to try and avoid taking off the heads and splitting the cases. So much for all those bar stories I heard about just taking a sled pulling it over and puting new plugs in and it fires right up! What a crock of sh*t! Any tips will be appreciated for cleaning out the engine. I've been using gas/oil premix with heet just pouring it in and turning it over.
  3. bansheeman8, I had to do the same thing last year to my 88 banshee.
  4. Yeah those things are awesome. They just said in the new snogoer that they are like 95% ready to start production. They'll cost mad dough though.
