  4. Hi All,

I am in the process of setting up my 07 banshee as a asphalt drag shee.

I have no started the engine since full rebuild - 64mm pistons (wisco) ported cyclinders, std stroke Hot rods crank, lockup clutch (rest in signature)

I have Nitrous and would like to run on alky. 39mm PWK carbies (use bike between 0-600 feet) temp 65-80

What size jetting should i use for the above set up? What alky oil ratio?

Also on cars you need to enlarge ring gap when running alky and nitrous is it the same with banshee's?

Also any other info on how to set bike up would be greatly appreciated i.e suspension etc etc. Have state titles in 4 weeks so i would to go out and kick some butt!

    Thak you very much

    Cheers

Best thing happened last weekend I was outside having a joint and the sexy bird from next door stuck her head over the fence and asked for some. Needless to say I invited her in and we had a session from hell. I could hardly move by the time she left. I see her every night now for smoke still trying to get in her pants proberly tonight or tomorow depends on how stoned/pissed we get!!!!!.

  7. Thanks for replies guys.

I found the locating pin lst night deep inside top of left piston. Order today a new wiseco piston kit. I have another std head but I have a coolhead on ordered so will just tidy up damaged head for now - only has about 20 marks from pin in it.

I was looking at my 100thou over RZ piston kit last night from wiseco and noticed that one of the locating pins was a bit lose, before I install the new pistons I will loctite the pin in place or should I return to place of purchase?

The only time I have had wiseco's break at skirt near window is when I have opening windows up a lot more than I should have.

  8. Hi All,

I pulled banshee apart this weekend due to lose of compression. 130 right and 125 left with 20thou off head should be around 150 I think.

I thought I had broken a ring, the problem is that the left piston the pin that locates the lower ring fell out and made a mess of head and piston but didnot leave a single mark on cyclinders still see hone marks from 6 months ago (new wiseco pistons installed at same time).

I have just ordered a new set of rings and will be back together shortly I plan on just filing top of piston flat again and diegrinding head.

Has anyone else had this happen???

  9. Hi Hasty,

Do yo have the rest of the RZ Engine? If so convert bike to RZ power might be cheaper than getting a flywheel shipped in. If you do get one shipped get a lightened one you wont be disapointed. Taken 250grams of std banshee flywheel and 220 of RZ flywheel amde a big difference to bike reving up quicker

  10. Hey everyone,

I am just trying to get things started in my area and was wondering the same as THE WOLF about the chrissy tree light/timing system!!

or does someone on here have a plan on how to make them.

Be good if I could find a 12 volt system otherwise will have run an inverter.

  11. My Craptor is giving me the shits!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am having electrical problems from starter motor to cdi. I've had it at 2 auto electricians and they can not locate the break in wiring harness. The bike just stops as you are riding it. All connections are clean etc but there is something not right. Died on me again on sunday. Just as well I took my banshee along also!!!!!!

    LONG LIVE THE BANSHEE

  12. I am going to use my RZ tranny in my RZ Shee. I will let you know in about a month or 2 on how it preforms. Just got last engine peice last week so time to put together.

I will be using the RZ-Shee for mainly drags so the longer legs should help.

  13. Hi Meat,

You would find that the RZ Tranny would be quit a bit taller than the banshee. Have looked at it a couple of times and worked out that I would need to install a larger rear sprocket (not available - have to adapt one) as a friend has tried it and found that he has to slip clutch a lot to get of the line but once moving not a problem just missing holeshot.

I still have my RZ bike in use on the road. I am fine tuning the performance side of thing first before installing in Banshee. I will proberly use the banshee tranny. My engine casein banshee is already a RZ one with all the banshee bits inside (mate smashed bike and destroyed engine case)
