  1. no choke it fires right up. when it starts to die the plugs are wet and black. when its hot it fires up only with the throttle about half open. if it were the reeds it would have done the same thing with the two carbs .
  2. ok guys heres one for ya, i got a 2 into 1 setup 35 pwk carb 48 pilot 180 main clip 2nd from top air screw at 3 turns out . starts up first kick idles perfect for about 10 seconds then runs on right cylinder only wants to stall . revs up on one cylinder won't fire both sides. take it for a ride both fire flat out wants to rip your arms off. i rode it on my practice track for 20 minutes runs like a raped ape . still wont idle for shit but fires both sides when hot . this bike ran perfectly with two stock carbs so i can't belive its electrical problem, besides having no idle it does have awsome power down low it pulls holeshots better than the two carbs and responds all thru the power bands i can't figure it out any ideas or suggestions????

  4. thanks for the quick replies. it does not really clean up at all,no idle and i think it smells pretty rich lots of white smoke out of the pipes. what should the air screw be set at ?
  5. i just bought a used 35 pwk with a 2 into 1 intake . it is not a trinity intake , it is a dual tube about 4 inches long . i am getting huge amount of bog on low end and will not idle , lot of white smoke out of the pipes. i just put this on and have not started to adjust anything yet. i need some thoughts and opinions on what the problem is. it has a 50 pilot and 158 main i don't know what the needle is set at , i have not figured how to check that yet. the air screw is at 2.5 turns out. my mods are cool head 18 domes 181 compression , pro circuit pipes, fmf torque reeds, adjustable stator at 5 degrees, bored .40 over, open air box, 32:1 mix with vp red 104 fuel . this bike is a fully prepared mx shee that ran flawless with the stock dual carb setup. i switched to the single carb only for more low end for mx racing. i don't know the elevation here but i live in upstate ny syracuse , i would say 2000- 3000 elevation? sorry for the book thanks.....
