  1. Dope man thanks for the info. I’m going to do some more research and see if I wanna make the banshee back to stock or go fast type of bike. [quote post=1952638" timestamp="1734429701" name="Jereme6655" userid="34943] Crankshaft. Some cranks can be reworked. Some cranks cannot. Depending on the crack that is in it, it might not be cost effective even if it is able to be reworked. As far as cylinders and pistons go….. it depends what you’re doing with the motor. Keeping it stock? Oem cylinders are pretty damn hard to beat. Unless you’re swapping out to a cub or different wild setup……oem cylinders can take you places you’ve never thought of. Pistons…..I run wiseco pistons. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Hello all, I just bought a 89’ A arm banshee that wasn’t running. The reason being is because I wanted to take a jab at rebuilding the motor and seeing what was wrong with it. Anyways I pulled off the top end and the left piston was seized and notice the pistons had a lot of play so I moved onto the bottom end and the striker is shot as well. Sorry for rambling, here are my questions. Is it possible to rebuild the stroker? How can you tell if the stroker is OEM or aftermarket? And does anyone have suggestions on reliable cylinders and pistons, and not the cheap chinese stuff. Also how do you tell if the pistons and cylenders are OEM. Thank you.
