  1. Thanks, I got a guy… quick shout out to TK Suspension, dude is tight! I’ll check your links. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  3. That’s kind of where I’m at. Buying a used bike that’s 20plus years old lends itself to a bunch of head scratches. Unless there is some weird hermit guru living in the Nevada desert that set this bike up for a given terrain? Either way I’m in NWPA and it doesn’t make sense to me. The rear travel with a Honda shock utilizing banshee linkage is either over sprung or under. My initial assessment leads me to the rear swing arm being way over sprung. The shit seams tight & compressed.

  5. Recently purchase a banshee, it’s a bit of a Frankenstein. 97’ frame 98’ engine, works performance front shock & oddly enough a Honda mono tube on the rear. Thus far I haven’t found anyone who is aware of this swap. Any ideas from you knowledgeable folks would be great. The bike came from Nevada originally according to the cert of origin. I’m thinking of getting rid of the rear shock and I’m worried that the linkage may be modified to accommodate the Honda shock.

  7. Figured tapa out… pic’s of nerf bracket welded to frame. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Ok, over it… tapa says I don’t exist so, I’ll describe the hot mess. Nerf brackets are welded in place & it is wearing on me. Anyone ever had to carefully cut them out or is there a foot tread that I can drill/bolt on this mess?
  9. Has this been encountered or does anyone have good suggestions for this hot mess? New to forum but not new to motor sports. Just checked a box on my bucket list with a supposed ‘97 Shee. I’m not a fan of the nerf’s and don’t intend to race so, trying to remove however, I encountered this & didn’t notice before buying(not that it would have mattered-runs well). Guessing, lots of grinder/dremmel? I’ll try and post pic’s via the old tapa… added- nerf brackets are welded to frame.
