Exactly,I definitely feel like it’s more in it
-
It’s ported already I also don’t feel like the guy that was tuning It took his time. He said I was close already without syncing the carbs he said he could hear that they were synced already. He didn’t check the air fuel screw either. This is right after I finish the engine during the break in process. The carbs was all out of whack. I’m also leaking a little gas out of the lines when idling. Unfortunately I don’t know anyone else around me that knows how to tune a XC Banshee. I definitely feel like it has more in it. I checked the carbs myself and they weren’t synced 1 number off both sides in that’s just regular idol. Right now I’m having trouble trying to figure out how to adjust the float I’m pretty sure that’s one of problems. but they are new carburetors

Hey guys I’ve just finished my banshee 421 serval 4mil put it on the dyno machine and it’s only making 70 hp. I have +5 timing 35mmpwk,ported, 4 reeds,22domes pump, 150psi, 68mm pistons, running 28/1, shearers and uni filter pods. I’m trying to get 80-90. Mind you this is a fresh engine. It was basically broken on the dyno machine. Also check both of the cards today and they weren’t even synced. They were about off 1 number on both sides. Just wondering is it way I could get 10 more horsepower out of this Banshee by improving the timing? or leaning it out to 32/1.

Hey guys, I’ve been looking into getting a steering stem stabilizer. Just wondering if any of you guys running these. I’ve just finished building my XC Banshee(421 serval) long travel elka stage five. Fox rear., etc. I am planning on getting a GPR V5 (580$)stabilizer. Is it a noticeable improvement on handling or could I do without it?
-
Yeah sucks that I have to wait a month or two though
-
Went with elka 5. Really wish they had different colors but quality over looks
-
Fox float was my first choice because of price and quality, but it’s hard to find the correct size for fireball if I were to go with that, I would have to get 19.5 YFZ Fox floats evols. Fireball recommends 19.25. But I agree. Chose elka stage 5 though

Fireball front and rear

Do anyone out there know anybody who still produce fiberglass plastics for the Banshees. With the custom paint job. I’ve tried to contact splat multiple times still no reply or no answer. Is there anyone else out there who makes custom make fiberglass plastics? If so, send me their info.

a lone star steering stem. Thang is I had full lone star setup before on the front. So I’m keeping the stem. But I have brute force 12mm tie rod end that fit them perfectly so it shouldnt be a problem with those A arms
-
OK, so I posted a discussion yesterday on front shocks. Today I’m thinking of buying a swing arm. What do you guys think? What is the top of the line swing arm. I know a lot of people will say roll design, but it’s almost impossible to find them these days. I’m looking for a swing Arm thats lightweight. which is the best between these two Fireball or lone star
-
Just ordered the fireball long travel it was between lone star long travel and fireball. Did I make a right decision?
-
Yeah man. I called axis 2500$ for triple rate. Been thinking elka stage 5 2300$. Right now it’s between those two. I’ve had Fox in the past. decided to keep my rear shock from fox. I don’t like the new color-ways they have now. And also sending them out for service, I’ve heard can be a headache. I’ve never even heard of PEP for banshee not too many people have that.I’ve seen them on other quads though. I might have to check them out.
-
Which shock are on top! I’m upgrading my setup and I’m investing in suspension. I want the top on the line. I’m going long travel for XC. Let me know what you guys think. Figured it’ll be a great topic to discuss.

Hey guys im currently building a 421 serval. With 68mm pistons, small bore shearer, and vforce 4 reeds. This is my first time putting one together! I have 2-keihin 35 mm PWK’s with CEL needles. I live in Florida so im at sea level. Just wondering what you guys are running as far as jets
-
😂. Just put in an order for some AFM intake gaskets top of the line, from F.A.S.T. I couldn’t get that Vito’s gaskets to stop leaking.
-
have anybody out there ever tried the Vito’s intake gaskets. I put a sit on my Benshee and I have a leak coming through them after putting multiple layers of yamabond. I thought using them would be OK since I’ve put the yamabond on them. But I guess not. You guys suggested Vito or all their parts garbage?

Jeff has my motor now. I know he could probably fix it. The guy also got some of the Powdercoat in the threads🤦♂️
-
Yeah man I hope so. Didn’t tell the guy to sandblast the whole motor. You’d figure he’d know that
-
Hey guys, I recently got my Banshee case Powdercoating coat. The guy that Powdercoated , my Banshee mistakenly sandblasted the whole case. Including all the material on the inside. So I sent my case out to Jeff from fast racing for resurfacing.(he said he’ll try his best). It’s currently being shipped to him just wondering is this fixable? Do I have to worry about the sandblasting in the area such as The holes where the bearings lay? If anyone has any information on how sandblasting work. Please let me know really don’t want to buy new cases. Now I regret even getting the case powder coated in the first place..

Hey guys im currently building a 421 serval. With 68mm pistons, small bore shearer, and vforce 4 reeds. This is my first time putting one together! The carbs I’m getting for it is 2-keihin 35 mm PWK’s with CEL needles. I live in Florida so im at sea level. Just wandering what you guys are running and far as jetting? Want to jet the carbs myself. Since I’m way over budget with this build already 😂
-
Yes I also use blaster pistons. What domes are you running?
-
hey guys, I’m currently putting together a 421 serval with 68mm pistons just wondering if anyone out there has the same setup, what cc domes are perfect for 93 octane that provides the most compression. I currently have 24 cc 9deg domes ready to install. Before I tried to put 21 cc domes in there, but I’m guessing they were too small since the engine did not want to turn over. The top of the pistons were getting stuck in the domes

Hey guys, I’m thinking about getting the Elka linkage but I don’t know if it’ll work with the Fox float rear shock. Have anybody ever used this combination and if so, does it work good together?
