  1. The thing is the kit that herrjugs Offers includes a new welded crank, Cylinder porting, pistons and domes For 1300 a little bit more than what I would be spending on Drivelines kit just for the cylinder and pistons. That’s why I’m considering that route. But if I could get my crank rebuilt that would be an option also
  2. Yeah I’m leaning toward that direction also. I have a stock crank in really bad condition. Do you know of anyone that could rebuild cranks?
  3. Yep. I’m really overthinking it bro lol
  4. This is the second build. Something just to bs around on. Got the banshee for only 1500$ wasn’t expecting to buy it, but it was a deal I couldn’t turn down. It’s not that I want less power. It’s less money to build lol. Since I already have 25K in the serval. Stock cylinders is just not enough power. Unless I bore it and port. The reason why I’m comparing the two and asking is because I’m looking for the most bottom end power. And reliability.
  5. Hey guys, after some consideration and listening to you guys replies from my last topic, I have decided not to go with the 443 or 465. I’ve realized that it’s too much for the trails. I was really chasing horsepower. And also, it’s a couple thousand more than what I wanna spend at the moment lol. So here’s the idea (I have some stock cylinders sitting around in my garage).so I want to go stock cylinders with 66 bore, 4mil, 397 and get a MX hard-core port on it. I talked too herrjugs. And he’s saying he could do the port job and custom cut domes to accommodate 58 stroke. And prevent putting a space plate. On the other hand in thinking about a 392 Athena which is a stock crank but 68 bore triple port. Which I would also have herrjugs do a hard-core MX port. But I would have to buy the Athena cylinders. Which I have no problem with, but I’m trying to ask you guys if you think it’s worth it just for the added triple port and nikasil. I just want something I can bs around on. With having a good amount of power, bottem- top end. I already have a 421 serval. So I’m trying to do something different this time around. If you guys have any experience with the Athena cylinders, let me know what you think? And are they worth it and how do they compare to stock (overbored)cylinders?
  6. Yeah, I never get that also. It’s a lot of companies in similar predicament that has a leadtime. I’ve always thought to myself. Why not make 100 or so and leave them on the shelf
  7. Does he get them chromed? I’ve never had sniper been hearing a lot of good things about them. I’ll wait that long if I have too lol
  8. I agree, but I’m building a whole different bike now. So I wanna do something different. Already have a 421. I’ve heard alot of people say it’s more than enough but trying to get creative with this build thinking trail/ all terrain set up
  9. Does anybody know where I can get a set of sniper pipes from? I went on the website but no response. Also tried to call the number no response. Do they even still sell these pipes or is it any place other than the website I can get them from? I’m looking for them in chrome
  10. Were they used pipes?
  11. Damm I’m better off just selling them and taking the loss and buying a chrome set
  12. Do anyone out there know of a place that still chrome plate pipes?. I’ve been trying to get a set of shearers chromed for a while now.
  13. Hey guys, I’ve been thinking about building a new motor. right now I currently have a 421 serval. Been enjoying it so far, but the power is starting to grow on me. Now I’m thinking of going bigger lol. I was able to get a good deal on a frame and a motor for 1500. I’m thinking of doing a 443 or a 465 serval. I’m mostly trail ride. Is it necessary to go for 465 or 443 Or is it too much for trail rider? I am thinking of doing 443 trail ported serval ,36 smart carbs, pro mod, straight cut gears, Paul tuner mid or cpi, 20 cc domes on 110 race gas let me know if you guys think
  14. Hey guys I have a question about jetting. I just recently put together my 421 serval. I have 35 PWK Shearer pipes small bore 22 CC domes pump gas 150 to 155 psi compression CEL needle in the middle +5 timing 32:1 I’m at sea level (Florida) Right now I’m running 58 pilot 158 Main.air screw 1.5 turns out. Idle at 5 I had 55s (1 turn out )in there before but I experienced a small stutter from bottom to med so I figured it wasn’t getting enough gas so I went up on the pilot The stutter has went away, but I’m still getting in slow on the power band. Do you guys have any suggestions on jetting? I would attempt to do plug chops but my front end is wobbling really bad. That’s a problem for another day lol. But before I take it out again. I want to get it at a good starting point.
