I know this is a BS topic to talk about but I figured I would hear some opinions.
My shee starts great, has great response while testing throttle in neutral and doesn't hang, big or hesitate.
Took it to St. Anthony dunes which is 1000 ft lower in elevation from Colorado. Did a few quick test runs. Ran perfect all the way through the throttle. Awesome!!!?
After rippin for 15-20 minutes, all of sudden it would bog out. Quickly grab the clutch, whip the throttle slowly and little at a time, it would regain and open up. Release clutch to get goin and then bog repeats.
Thoughts that were discussed while there were,
Jetting - addressed on the spot
Fuel mixture - started at 32-1 and ended with 40-1
Possibly electrical - didn't have the tools to test stator or cdi
Head gasket leak/losing compression - didn't get around to checking
Possibly a stuck float - didn't inspect as it crossed my mind while packing up to leave. But, if it ran strong during the first 15-20 minutes, wouldn't a hindered float cause problems from the get go.
Just bummed that I drove all that way to not even rip it up the bigger shit let alone that much at all.
I'd appreciate any opinions.
Thanks in advance
