  1. The left side of my banshee seems to be out of sync or different from the right. The right muffler has a good amount of smoke coming out but the left side has very little. When I give it gas when riding, the left side kind of sounds like it’s delayed. I just put new nets in both carbs and maybe was thinking it was the piston. Also it is overheating and shutting off about 20 min of riding, I have engine ice that I am going to put in to see if it makes a difference
  2. Hello I know this is a banshee forum but this question is for my Yamaha blaster which is basically just the baby banshee. I am rebuilding my whole engine because they crankcase is cracked and I can not find a new right case. I found one on eBay but it is $500 just for one side of the case. In the picture below, I bought a used one and it is in pretty good condition except for wear down on the wall in the picture. Do you think it is safe to use this case or does anyone know where to get a new one?
  3. Cool thanks. So once I plug chop, if it’s rich and I need to go down a size or two? Does the pilot also go down the same?
  4. What about pilot, it is 210 main and 42 pilot
  5. I just double checked, they are keihin carbs with 210/42
  6. Oh thank god you said that because I have keihin carbs. No wonder why everyone was saying 300 but my shops around me were saying like 190. So what would be good for a keihin?
  7. Cool thanks. I might have to take it out somewhere because there won’t be enough space where I’m at.
  8. Does the throttle have to be all the way open or just a consistent amount of open? I don’t think I have enough space to get it all the way open around where I live. Also, could I just use cheap spark plugs for the testing or do they have to be some ngk ones
  9. Ok. I understand that lighter is lean and darker is rich. So if it is lean do I got higher main jet or lower? Vice verse for rich?
  10. I just bought a 1989 banshee from someone who had it jetted for 7,000 feet(I’m at sea level) I need to rejet it, when I looked at what jets it had, the main jet was 210 and the pilot jet was 32. Everything I have been looking up say around 300 main jet and 27.5 pilot jet. When I call a couple of my local atv shops, they say 300 seems a bit high. It has vforce 4 reeds, no air box and upgraded fatty pipes. What do you guys think I should jet it at?
