  1. Seafoam . Disconnect the fuel line spayed air through. Than poored seafoam in line till filled. Than let sit for an hr . Connected the line again ran the bike till stopped dumping smoke ,Than just repeated one more time and it did the trick.
  2. It worked cleared it right up. Smoked like a mother but ohhh ya it sounds good and alive thanks for all the help
  3. Jets keep getting clogged. Would seafoam work ? I use in cars and lawn mowers . Could I just fill the carbs with that let it sit than run it clean ,just like normal application .would that clear it all up
  4. I can spray alittle in both carbs . Kick it it's starts runs for about 5-13 sec both high ish rpm and low ish rpm depending on how much throttle. But than stalls out and won't start unless sprayed again
  5. Got it floowing will run off starting fluid. But having a hard time with the idle /Rev I do believe it's the tors system. Right now the both are turned all the way down with the slide almost sitting on the bottom. I'm betting that's the issue how many turns do I do ? I can't find it online . It should be somewhere in the middle I'd think but I'm unsure so thanks for helping
  6. Got the fly wheel off and New one on both pipes smoke and sounds good . But can only get it to run on starting fluid. The petcock has good flow . But when I connect it to the fuel line it's doesn't come out much at all. Causing the carbs to be dry and not fire . Have checked the lines no blockage floats are 21mm 280 main jet 25 pilot jet. What could cause the fuel to not flow to the carbs ? Oh yes it has gas and yes the filters on petcock are clean .
  7. So there are threads on oem ones / good aftermarket ones ?. This is my first banshee. Sounds like I'm in for a long fight trying to get this flywheel off. I'll have to get a big strap wrench and a spanner wrench I've never heard of the spanner wrench but those might just do the trick
  8. There are no threads at all smooth. And can't use the tool to make threads cause it doesn't have any spot to impact it just a spot for a wrench . But when I try with the wrench it turns the flywheel not allowing it to bite down and thread .
  9. Found my issue I believe pulled the flywheel cover and was full of rust water . Got the nut out for the flywheel but can't get the flywheel to come out. I have the 17mm extractor tool but it won't go on . I noticed the inside of the flywheel is smooth no threads and my tool threads on so confused on how it goes on . I have watched videos and they all thread in easy . I can get about half a turn maybe two than it stops . I know it's reverse threads .
  10. Found my issue I believe pulled the flywheel cover and was full of rust water . Any tips on cleaning it ? Brake clean might be to aggressive so want some input thanks !
  11. Pulled the pipes left side has about 60ml of fluid in the pipe right side has none. With pipes off looked at the piston and kicked it a few times . No fluid was coming out while kicking both pistons looked good
  12. I'll pull the pipes off again. How do I make sure piston is correct? The arrow is pointing toward the exhaust port and moving up and down with out dragging. I'll make note of how much gas comes out each carb . Last time I ran some compressed air through the line to clear it of fuel and I noticed the right side had more fuel come out than the left .do you know what the tors screw is spose to be set to its all the way down on mine causing the slides to be almost sitting on the bottom of the carbs .and I'm not to sure what you mean by pick up clearance. I appreciate all the help
  13. When I pick up bike liquid out of left pipe . Oem cylinder and in spec just can't figure out where the liquid Is coming from in the pipe
  14. I sprayed a little starting fluid in dead side started little more easy but still was smoking out the left pipe. When I did rebuild took off pipes and polished them didn't see any kind of nest / blockage. The plugs look OK the right is fine little dirty after few kicks . The left plug gets more oil/fuel on it. But that's also the side that gets the drips coming out the the pipe to rear pipe connector.
  15. Have done that does not seem to make a difference. Slides in the right way dialed in together. No filters at the moment till i get it tuned .Will Rev up both still only out of the one side. And when you let off throttle it stalls out in a heart beat.
  16. You 2002 yamaha banshee fresh rebuild wisco 65mm piston kit, hooned cylinder to 65mm .with t5 pipes with the t5 jet and needle kit. main jet 280 pilot 25 needle 4th notch sea level.float at 21mm.won't run out of both pipes. Tested coil ,plugs ,cross over tube ,reeds, no blow by from vent tube. Still has tors system .When you start it .it will run with the left pipe smoking /heating up right side nothing. While running a watery oil like substance comes out of the left pipe where it connects to the rear pipe. I've redone this thing 5 times still can't figure it out help.
