Iv known Kim since I was a little boy, grew up in his area, We talked about port work and we decided I didn’t need it and they don’t have time to do it. So New clutch basket, new clutch fibers, some welded crank and things like that. Lookin about $1500 now all said and done. We had to order some parts we didn’t expect. Figure this Is due for an update. The cylinder both have real low compression, 120 at tdc and I am getting a leak from the lower crank seal on clutch side. Figured out the spark issues was zero power to the CDI box. Replaced with a Amazon special and it seems to be working fine Going to order up some parts of walk motor into K&T performance for rebuild. Got my first bit of parts in, the smallest screws that are stripped out on the cascade designs side cover, need to get moving Talked to the fabricator friend and I think we are going to just tig weld in a piece over the rust spot. It looks like someone welded in the corner of this frame and smoothed it out, probably over ground the metal and made it thin The bike has never been stored outside so the elements shouldn’t have taken that much of toll on it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Im thinking to fix it properly I need to cut out the rusted area and patch a piece in, my worry Is that I start with a grinder looking for the end of the rust and I’ll find it doesn’t stop anywhere and I need to find a new frame but.... I have one major blemish in the frame from rust, not sure how I will go about fixing it and making it look good being chrome, welding a plate over it would be easy enough but getting the frame redone wouldn’t be so easy or cheap Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
