  1. sounds like weak spark. check the gap between flywheel and pickup. I think it needs to be around .015-.018 thou. after it dies remove the plug and leave it plugged up resting on the head kick it over and see if theres a spark. if your not getting a hot blue spark then your ignition is weak. I worked on a bike once that had similar symptoms and turned out to be the float in the carb was stuck open with the vent blocked letting boat loads of raw fuel going through the intake. like the others said oem for your electronics. once its running how does it perform?
  2. thanks. I notice on this 2 piece design from vitos its not counter bored for the 10 O-rings for the studs like the pro-design. seems like it would leak out of the studs.
  3. anybody run these know what studs they use? stock size or do they need the longer ones? and do they use the same domes as pro design and the rest?
  4. ill give that a shot see what he says if I can even get a hold of em. if .009 isn't to excessive ill just order another set of 66mm and go on about my build. ps. anybody know off hand what the 513m06600 and 513m06625 wiseco pistons measure out to be? tried looking on wiseco sight but no luck, tried to call with no luck as well. Ive been told theres like a master catalog somewhere with all the measurements
  5. I have a old set of ported oem cylinders from LRD. they ran good for my setup. was freshing up the top end and decided to mic out the inside bore and pistons. there running wiseco 513m06600 66mm pistons. measuring from the bottom of the piston skirt or the widest part im getting around .009-.010 thousand clearance room temp for my piston to wall clearance. I know they require at least .003 thou. minimum but how far can I get away with? I guess I could go up to a 66.25 piston or 66.50 but isn't that pushing the limit on a factory sleave? I have some nice measuring tools so I know my measurements are spot on. any info or builders who run this much clearance?
  6. building a 421cc setup and kinda stuck between buying the kit from driveline where I have 2 separate cylinders or a setup from CP where both cylinders are together, any one better than the other? I get that with drivelines if I toast a cylinder I can just send that one back to get replated or repaired but other than that whats the pros and cons? seems like with the cp cheetah cub or both cylinders together that it would have a better head gasket seal? drivelines kit is cheaper but im not worried about that so to speak. tried to do some research on this but no good info. what do you guys think?
