    Waiting for my Clymer manual to arrive . Tried to do a search on this but can’t get an answer. How much stuff do I need to take off bike for top end change .. fuel tank , plastics, pipes stuff like that ???

    My carbs are soaking in chem dip right now.. I’m reading instructions for this gauge. It says warm up engine.. well that’s not happening. Lol . Can I still do this??

    I have the compression gauge in my possession.. but the pistons seem really scored to me . Can you guys tell from pics? My question is ,if pistons look bad could they still be good . I have experience w rebuilding stihl chainsaw. My last 2 stroke was a 1990 CR125😳

    Sounds good to me .. how much of a bore over? What size new pistons?

    Need to do this on a budget for now. What do you recommend for a new top end ? I’m thinking I should just take it apart first before ordering parts??

    Ok , so I got reeds off . Reeds look good . Pistons are scored. Does it look like any porting was done? That I have no idea about?

    Can you tell from pics ? Number looks like 370 to me . But maybe it’s 270 but I don’t think so
