  1. Does anyone know where I can get an OEM stator for 93 Yamaha banshee
  2. I have a 93 Yamaha banshee. Been on this form before but have new questions everything is brand new electrical rebuilt motor used carburetors but clean aftermarket FMF exhaust your fuel tank you name it. Can’t get it to fire. New stator new fly wheel. Can’t get it started on starter fluid. Is there a power valve in the 93 Yamaha banshee motor. Or is there a way to timing my timing may be off just does not want to start it tries to but it won’t. Have strong spark
  3. Replacing most of the seals in the engine when I pulled the top end To replace some seals that were leaking it was wondering if anybody could tell me why the top of the Pistons are covered in oil with a Spark plug goes in was also covered in oil So I can’t get any spark because they are covered in oil
  4. Thank you everyone I am going to take the engine out of the bike this weekend and do the pressure test thank you everyone for your information and guidance I will let you know how I make out. The whole bike is brand new front to back top to bottom left to right wiring carburetors everything I’m hoping that with your information and guiding so I could get this running. Thanks again
  5. It’s a Ebay tester
  6. Not the most expensive compression tester just screws into the spark plug so if I spray soapy water all over the engine to look for leaks do I kick it over to build up pressure. First time having a problem with a rebuilt Like this
  7. So what will cause low PSI on my compression the engine was rebuilt two years ago and sat could it be that the seals are all dried out
  8. Mmmm I’m at 60 psi
  9. I know I mix the gas a little lean I went by the owners manual it’s at 24 to 1 but then I was told to go 32 to 1
  10. Yes put in the idle screws I just have a rubber hose going between the carbs properly for the choke tube do you know what the compression on the engine should be around
  11. Since I’ve gone to the tors delete I can’t even get it to idle it pops back fires and spiders but won’t idle won’t start
  12. Let me ask you this if I unplug the tors from underneath the gas tank believe the two other plugs plugged in to the idle pieces. Above the carburetors would that make a difference or should I unplug those two seem to idle a little longer before I did the tors delete But I had the pieces above the carbs plugged in but the piece unplug underneath the tank
  13. Do you know what the Compression should be
  14. Yes all unplugged it Roughly idols for about 10 seconds and then shuts down my concern is all the black fuel looking stuff on the spark plugs
  15. So I have another question I did a tors delete still won’t run. When I pull out the spark plug there looks to be like there’s oil on it but there’s not it’s wet and black
  16. 375hp banshee. It is a new build I had to fly wheel off to adjust the stator. Put back on. Not sure what you mean when you saySee if your timing trigger is "close to "being lined up when 1 of the cylinders is "close to" tdc
  17. Tors system Is still connected but it is unplugged from the wiring harness
  18. Yes It’s just a small two between the carburetors correct. It’s hooked to both carburetors
  19. Ok so I changed the jets and will only idle for 30 seconds when I give it throttle it bogs down and it still back firing every fifth or six kick
  20. Can only find 27.5 And there is only one Pilot each and one main jet each correct
  21. Everything is stock the engine has been rebuilt to Stock specs. Still has the dual carburetors, has dual air filter pods K in N air filters, no airbox new fly wheel and stator timing set To +3. Fuel Manuel said 24 to 1. This is my first banshee build When I tried to kick it over it wants to start it keeps sputtering and every fifth or six kick it backfires exhaust is heating up but wont fire enough to idle.
  22. Gusto Do not have the stock airbox M using KNN dual air filters
