pick up coil reading is ~243 ohms, which is much higher then the 94-140 range, does that mean it is toast?

I got a banshee that had been outside for a few years in pnw. Did full tear down and rebuild. Since putting everything back together it will only spark about once every 20 kicks. Its stock 92' no key,tors removed List of things checked: Replaced coil,plugs,cdi Stripped and checked harness Cleaned grounds Checked coil gap Disconnected kill switch Ohms tested stator My main question is, could the stator still be bad, even with it reading ohms within range? Also could my plug wires be to long?
