  1. Thank you for the uplifting info.. I was thinking the worst.. I was expecting to be replacing the bottom crankcase
  2. Just rebuilt my banshee, shifter had play in it and for some reason I decided to wait until last to address the situation.. pulled my clutch cover off and saw this.. any way to fix it? Planning on pulling clutches and what not tomorrow. Just looking for some info as what to prepare myself for
  3. Thanks for the info.. I just bought it a couple months ago after a 12 year period of being away from them
  4. Update* pulled the carbs off and cleaned them good. Installed stage 2 dynojet kit. Moved the needle clip to the 3rd position. The pilot jet that's in them has no numbers stating the size of the jets so I left them be for now. The dynojet kit was only main jets and a new needle. With that being said. It runs perfect on half choke. When I take it off half choke it loads up and eventually dies.
  5. As far as mods.. only full dg exhuast, boost bottle and pod filters
  6. Air screw is 1 3/4 turn out. Only changes that were made was new stock reeds.
  7. Oh yeah and if I pull the choke it's a bit better but not 100% responsive
  8. Finally got some decent weather so I decided to get the banshee out.. starts and idles with ease but will not take throttle off of idle..
  9. Does the crankcase have to come apart to replace the shaft? I'm recently jumping back into owning a banshee after a 12 year break so it's been a while.. thanks for any info
  10. A little bit of everything from hill climbing to trail
  11. Ok thanks for the info.. yes it's oem.. I don't trust the cheap knock offs.. I mostly buy my parts from Vito's and babbitts online
  12. Later on this summer I plan on doing port work and a few other mods.. already have an adjustable timing plate and new stator ready to put on..
  13. As of now it's still the stock head but yes.. pipes, boost bottle and pod filters
  14. I have tons of play in my shifter. Where should I start as far as troubleshooting ? thanks
  15. Ok so I was thinking of jumping to 32 mm carbs with a cool head and dg exhaust.. as of now with stock carbs, dg exhaust and boost bottle and I am running main jet 220 and a 20 pilot. How will I have to jet it for the bigger carbs? Will I need to use the same jets or go bigger
