  1. Thanks, and which was the one you were referring to?{the one(s) doable from the outside} Or at least your best guess.
  2. What exactly would that seal be called? Sorry major n00b here
  3. Would that seal failing cause me to lose all the oil in a matter of 20-40 minutes? Or does that sound worse?
  4. Trans oil. The case is empty now
  5. Nothing unusual I can see. I'm not exactly familiar with these terms yet. I've only ever worked on cars specifically SBC's. There's a pool of oil under the chain on the frame no the case is not cracked that I can see. Looks fine
  6. I'm sure there's a million other threads about this, but I bought a 1993 banshee yesterday. Has a pro design cooling head, fmf pipes, k&n kit. Rode it twice, parked it, came out 20 minutes later and it pissed out all the oil. Looks like it's coming from near the front sprocket. I know if it's the seal behind there, I have to split the case to fix it. My questions are: 1: is there a fix without splitting the case? 2: if not, how much am I likely to spend at the shop? Don't have time or tools to get it done myself right now. Thanks, Nick
