Never use silicone, rtv, or any type of 'glue' on o rings. A little Vasoline or even grease will hold the o ring in place. -

Thanks Blowit, I wasn't quite sure on whether the caps should be on or not when testing. I am not using resister plugs.

My concern as I am well out of range on the secondary resistance 15000 is more than double the 7100 Max as stated in the manual I've heard that higher resistance like this is bad for CD eyes I don't know being too worried here or not but double the resistance is stated in the manual set me some concerns I

I'm doing some maintenance on my Banshee, and I'm down to cleaning all electrical connections and grounds. Without the plug caps my coil tests well within spec. With the plug caps on the wires the secondary reads 15.71k. Plug caps read 4.6k and 4.95k. Coil is oem and caps are NGK about 6 months old. Why the high resistance with the caps on?

Come on you guys think if coolant is coming out of the Overflow it is getting past the cap there is an issue that is not a leak

You can have it tested at an Advance Auto. Also check on the radiator where the cap seals for pitting. If you're not overheating, could be a head gasket leaking, pressurizing the cooling system.

I picked up a set of Keihin pwk 28mm carbs for a good price locally. I did some searching can't seem to find what the float height should be set at. One post said 16mm to the line on the float, other one said 19mm only( I would assume to top of the float). No real help on Keihin's sight either.

Looking for a good usable set of PWK 28mm carbs. My stockers have worn slides and bad caps, so I thought I would upgrade. Thought I would check here quick before buying new.
