I put a set of 280 main jets in. Now when I rev it, it sounds like it wants to die. Also when trying to hit the powerband while driving it backfires. Do you guys think it's the CDI?? Tested the coil and its fine I'm maybe thinking it's that?

What do you mean by air leaks? I have 360 jet size in there. Do you think that is too big and I should try a 280?

Having problems midrange power I have it bored 40 over, v-force reeds, pro circuit exhausts. Can't get it tuned right what should the jet setting be and the needle??
