  1. Alright one last question gents. Down to the new carbs jetting. I've got #220 main and #50 pilots in my VM34 Mikuni carbs. I need to the conversion for these 33mm Keihin PWKs (that are currently running #152 mains and #50 pilots). She ran like a top with the Mikunis jet sizes just needing the conversion so she will do the same with the Keihins ! Thanks in advance

  2. Well now that everything is perfect on this little guy - I need to let her go to someone younger that enjoys going fast still ! Pm me for more info - I'd like to get $3700 OBReasonableOffer. Completely rebuilt from the bare frame up. Bike has 0.1 hours on it since rebuild. Arkansas delta region 773880e874a49c10e124fa2e4c9d4e90.jpgf740263fd49d82cc3e17e7fc010097e2.jpg

  3. This go round - I lapped both jugs, and lapped the intake surface to a nice surface and mounted everything up w gaskets and a very thin layer of yamabond. Zero leak down. So it was either the intake gaskets leaking on round one - or the head, or both. I will try to post a video of the piston. I've personally never seen a piston look like this one did - and I've seen a lot of messed up 2 and 4 stroke pistons haha

  4. Well the great news is she's still running ! The other news (not bad) is I've got some jetting to switch up. Got a nice set of 33mm PWK's from a member - but with my cylinder/porting/setup it's getting a little too much fuel, which is what I wanted it to do for break in but now I'm wanting the speed back I had on the first set of pistons haha

  5. No, 26mm is stock. Even stock carbs can be effective up to 70-80 hp. I said 28mm. I thought you had stock, and was looking to upgrade.

Naw I've got some Mikuni VM34 carbs right now. Not the best but it ran damn good until it popped that oring and smoked that piston. I've got some muriatic acid in going to clean that cylinder with this wkd - try and get the studs out of both jugs to lap them before I attempt to throw it back together - and will do a leak down this go round for sure !

  6. Prob should have just called fast racing like I suggested, none of this nonsense would be necessary, you'd be opening a box Monday, if you can't get him let me know I'll get him

Well I called a few places and this fella called back first. Explained what I needed and seemed legit. $230 ready to bolt on wasn't bad either. Just gotta figure out some new gaskets and build a leak down tester to use (which luckily I have all the parts I use to pressure test the tanks I build laying around). So hopefully next by the middle of next week - I'll be back in the saddle for another 11 seconds aka two pump chump

  7. You can order the head from ebay or check the for sale section here. The head isn't special it's the domes that make the magic happen. We recommend chariot because they look good, have less orings to deal with, will accept the the more common domes and are widely available. There are other brands that will accept the same style dome like modquad, vitos, fast, pro design

Yeah I messaged them on eBay. I'm not looking for a anything besides a motor that will run long enough just to play around with lol. Never would have thought there was that much to the dome design for one of these little motors to either blow or stay together haha. When you fill these things with coolant - is there a special way it has to be done or just fill them? I took the hose off the top of the head to allow any bubbles left over to get out and then put it back on - it's got a billet water pump impeller in it and new bearing/seals to boot. Only hearings I didn't replace were on the crank
