Ok thanks guys. I didn't know if it has something to do with the clutch being pulled in to start it or not.

When I bought it. It has the tors eliminator installed and the rear brake caliper has that block off plate on it. The e brake was never working cause it was missing the cable etc. I heard this wire has to do with the clutch being engaged to start it?

I'm wanting to put a standard asv lever and perch on. However there is a wire with a plunger switch that screws into the stock perch. What do I need to do to bypass this? Will I be able to start the quad if I just tie it off somewhere? Please help.
