  1. Thanks for the info. I never ran it. I ran up on a guy at the races one weekend. Pretty much bought everything he had and this is some of the stuff left over I had forgotten about.

  2. I call myself looking for this info on google but no luck. My question is are the cylinder base studs relocated to fit the dm cylinders on stock cases. I know other extensive work has to be done which is more than I can do. But Reason I ask is I have a set of cases with one stud broken off in the case. If they are relocated to fit the dm style cylinders then I won't worry as much about getting it out without damaging the case but if they stay in same position then I need to be very careful when extracting the broken stud.

  3. I'm not going to bother with this any more. Bottom line is cases are mixed matched. I'm partially to blame for not asking if they were a matching set. I assumed they were. I will call it a lesson learned and now that I know what to look for I won't have this to worry about again. I will close the PayPal claim and close the issue. Thanks to everyone for your opinion.

  4. they do look similar, now compare the actual casting marks just to the right side where the shift drum bearing sits.. the casting marks are different there.  then on other side look at the shift shaft seal  they appear to be different, and the original pic shows the natural cover missing and my pic shows it still in it. and bolts are still dirty so they have not been removed or installed. I prefer to sole this peacefully and that's why posted this up to get opinions..

  5. Correct. It's no doubt in my mind the cases are mixed matched and cannot be used. Period. the question now is was it done before or after the seller got them. I know I didn't swap them. I have to make an airport run today and I'm sure this this will weigh on my mind till I get back. I'm not gonna loose sleep over it. But at same time I don't want to discredit someone if I don't have proof to back up my claim. That's why I started this post to get other opinions. Then it escalated to this.

  6. I see one piece that might be similar but that's it. Im asking what do you see. To prove otherwise. I assure you if Im wrong I will make it rite. But everything I find shows mixed. Did you compare left side pics too.

  7. Zoom in to the area where the shift drum bearing rides in the case. Look at casting marks there. They are very different. And the broken bolts And no scaring from removing the broken bolts out. I don't know what the hell you looking at but look at the facts i am pointing out It fucking obvious they are different. You show me a matching cast mark
