  1. I'll give them a shout. They are only a few hours away from me. Thanks !
  2. Had my Banshee motor done 7 years ago. Stock crank/big bore/High Comp I think 380 CC's. I rarely ride it as its a nostalgia build. The last time I rode it was maybe last Spring. Rode it pretty hard running it around the yard. I always shut the fuel off and idle it out of fuel because it sits so long. Fast forward to this weekend. I decided I would pull it out and kick it off. The engine is frozen solid, it will not kick. Pulled plugs and they look really good. My shop is temp controlled by the way. I pretty much assume its fucked. Does anyone have a suggestion for an engine builder, even possibly around Chicago ? I assume a 4m Serval kit with some trans upgrades ? Thanks !
  3. I didn't even think to look on their website. Thanks a ton !
  4. Got the front end finished up ( pics to come ) and now I need to align it. Anyone have specs to go by for this ? I also am going to need to set the camber as well.
  5. Awesome brother ! Let me know when you make it, I love watching videos how things are done. The pics work on my laptop at home but for some reason they didn't show up on my work computer either today. I wonder if its a browser issue.
  6. I didn't know there was an adjustment there. Thanks for all the help fellas.
  7. Got some man shit done today. Left side is pretty much done. I roughly set my camber to 0*. Setting my toe, I broke the jam nuts loose on the stock extention rods, unscrewed the rods and rescrewed in the new ones to the jam nuts. The alignmet looks pretty damn close. What camber and toe settings are you guys running ?? On to the progress pics ... The stock suspension looks like poo poo compared to the LSR/Elka's. I also am using the upgraded YFZ front calipers. Really enjoying this build. So here is the deal with my clutch cable and lever. With the adjuster screwed all the way in to the loosest setting, The cable is pulling the clutch in. Anyone have any ideas on what I should do here ? I kind of thought about cutting the boot stay down so the silver piece will thread in tighter.
  8. I bought the levers in December, too late for a return otherwise I would. The F3's are a huge step better than the stockers though. Do you know if anyone sells a longer clutch cable for the banshee ? I am still not sure about what I should do with it.
  9. Hey Fellas, a little update. Bike build has commenced. Have the stem up stuff done for the most part. I am using ASV Levers, My current clutch cable doesn't have enough length with the ASV adjuster all the way in. Does somebody make a longer cable setup ? What clutch cable are you guys using ? All in all, the Fast Flex bars are pretty interesting. They feel a little squishy so that will take some getting used to. I will be moving on to the suspension and shocks this weekend. The Control arms are adjusted all the way in. Does anyone have a " base " adjustment ( how many turns out or measurement ) to get it kind of close ? All the help is appreciated ! Pics : JR getting her ready. I was going to take some pics as we stripped the bike but we got too caught up in the disassembly to snap the pics. Ohh well Fast Flex bars and stem already installed... Grips and controls... Saturdays project ::
  10. Thanks. Yeah the Flexx bars and anti vibe stem and all the other stuff ( not a arms because of the wait for silver powder coat ) has already shown up. I thought about the long travel route but wasn't completely sure on the setup. I know Im going to need some pointers on dialing in the suspension. Yes it was. Went to Havasu. LOL.. If you're ever around NW Indiana Ill give you a ride in something fast .
  11. Couple pics of the boat for those interested.
  12. And thanks for all the replies guys. Ill check out Fireball for the swing arm.
  13. Yes its a RPM Redline 26. 565'' BBC with a 4.5L Whipple. been 140 on GPS. I sold it a few months ago and am currently shopping for a 32 Skater with # 6's and big power.
  14. Hey guys, new to the forums and quads for the most part. I know jack about suspending a quad so with that being said I am doing a full on suspension refit on my stock 99 lol. Im 35, mainly trail and dune, minimal jumping but not hardcore due to not wanting to fuck my self permanently. I bought the Banshee last year with a mild motor build and over this past summer, ended up with shifting issues after a couple of rough days at the dunes. So I ended up doing a stock crank .30 ultra high comp build with drag porting on the stock cylinders. Bike is crisp ! So, I decided to tackle the Suspension because the stock shit isn't keeping up. Here is what I have on order and should be here relatively soon ( ebay whore ) : http://www.ebay.com/itm/361227333031?_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT These are going to be setup for my riding style and weight 190lbs. http://www.ebay.com/itm/380629972392?_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT http://www.ebay.com/itm/291015452603?_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT http://www.ebay.com/itm/321599271060?_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT http://www.ebay.com/itm/121914236841?_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT http://www.ebay.com/itm/201599972100?_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT So now I need to tackle the rear.. Looking for swing arm advice from start to finish. I think stock or +1 would be sufficient for my type of riding. Does someone sell a full kit with everything vs piecing it together ? Or could someone give me advice on which parts I need ? I would prefer to have the bike squared vs wider in the front. I have no experience with this what so ever. Some pics of the quad:
