  3. yeah is 3,000 top value? what would you think a bike like this costs to build i just think the fact that is runs on 93 is odd... dont most ppl use a high end fuel with heads and porting?
  4. http://chicago.craigslist.org/sox/mcy/5682053637.html its a 2002 not a 04 its tight not sloppy has a wildcard racing port job and head 35 mm carbs ( not sure if its a 4mm crank) it runs on 93 a bunch of billet motor parts case covers ect pod filters toomey t5 wicked arms stellar swing arm +4 sainless brake lines asv levers clutch and brake mint plastic and great rear tires is it worth 3,000? i left a deposit on it but it was late and i couldnt ride it.. im assuming this is only good for dunes and drag with its current setup... plus not knowing whats inside the motor it could be amazing it seems to run well also from the video i will drive it today if i go make a deal.. what do you all think???

I was planning on jt steel sprockets im not racing and i want something that will last.. im sure there is a better shock than the elka but for the price i couldn't beat that and i'm sure it will be wayyyy ahead of my riding ability i gotta buy a tors delete also who's do you recommend?
  6. What's happening guys. I have always wanted a banshee since I had the opportunity to ride one when I was 16 in 2002! I'm getting a little old and chubby for the mx bike so I sold my MINT YZ250 last week and grabbed a 2005 bone stock clean original un opened motor bike for 3,000$ on consignment at a Yamaha shop in northern Wi. It has brand new hole shots on it too which I considered a plus... They have the fuzzies on em still! I don't get out much due to work and life but I'm a mod freak and a gear head. I have a 8 second gtr and a 69c10 short Box pickup. I can't leave anything alone but I wanted to start with a canvas that wasn't clapped out. The original owner has 15 quads and never rode this bike much so I figured it was the perfect candidate. I needed a seat cover because this one had a cigarette burn in it so I bought a new black gripper. I know suspension is everything so I supported a vendor and got the stage 3 elka setup for 975 $ on special I found a set of new in box vforce reeds on Craigslist for $100 so far and when I went there to grab those I bought a decent set of used fmf fattys for 200$ with silencers! I mostly trail ride so I figured this pipes shouldn't be bad for the $ and if not they should bring 200$ I need to get jets. Have any suggestions ? I also want to grab another set of wheels and am looking at a new front bumper mine is mint but I'm still was thinking about an alba to preserve the stocker and I want to powder coat it to match the wheels in prismatic powders illusion purple or glowing yellow ? Does anyone have pics of the alba installed? The bike is also on the original chain and sprockets. That will be replaced before I ride it. What's the hot gearing setup for a stock motor ? Who's makes a solid chain Renthal? Regina? Did? Any suggestions appreciated. Can't wait to get this thing going Any other mods you suggest ? Tors delete? Bars? Ect.... Thanks pics coming asaP!

  8. Looking for a nice banshee near Chicago but possibly farther if it makes sense or you are willing to meet. I have cash I would prefer MINT machines the closer to stock the better unless you have paperwork for it don't bother responding. I need a title to obtain Wisconsin trail passes.   11. So I'm looking to buy my first banshee im getting a little older so I sold my yz250 last week... It was a flawless bike (I'm a perfectionist). I went and looked at a few local banshees today and most seem clapped out :-/. I however saw a 2006 se yellow with title for $4,000 with v force reeds toomey t6's and a jet kit. It was mint and the motor was never opened yet There's another in Michigan for 3200 that's bone stock even cleaner but it is a 2004 and had that red frame.... I hate the red frame with white plastics. Basically what should I be looking for when buying one of these I mean I understand the basics but are there any KNOWN ISSUES OR PROBLEM AREAS I don't think I'll have the ability to compression test any of them but the 06 fired right up and didn't sound bad besides the usual kick start rattle. The 04 is a drive but might be worth it since its a 2 owner on original tires ... What should I expect to pay for a mint machine from 2002-06 and clean older models 97-01 are there any advantages to certain years over others ? Will the 06 be the most desirable in the end?
