That's what I'm wondering about (side to side) which way it would be better balanced, I'm not sure how the engine sits in a banshee frame and it seems the clutch side of this engine sticks out quite a bit, I know I will need to cut out the 2 diagonal pieces of the frame to make room for the exhaust.It would he more important to make sure it is balanced and you have room for the exhaust.

I'm in the early stages of this build and looking for some input, with the sprockets lined up together it makes the cylinders and carbs off centre with the frame but the kick start and gear shifter shafts seem to have good placement as well in this position, would it be more important to have the cylinders centred and use an offset sprocket?
Pics show how the engine sits with sprockets lined up.

Also forgot to mention the rear end has billet lock nut,sprocket/rotor hubs, new oem axle and wheel hubs, new renthal sprocket, new rotor, new rad bearing carrier

Super cub? It's the $2,999 kit from bp racing, they list it as super cub, I have no idea what the dome size is or what porting it has :s what pipe should I run on it? I have a new set of cpi raw big bores but not to happy with the fitment, left side hits the head and pod filter on the stator side no matter how I shim them :s I've read that shearer small bore fit good? But can they be run on this size engine?

Thanks for the reply, Just checked it and has 170, 55, ddj 3rd clip, #7 slideGood starting point would be a 175 main ,55 pilot,4th clip on needle.

Just bought this banshee with a new 521 kit installed, was told it only has about 30 min run time on it, he had fmf pipes on it for the break in, I took off the pipes to mount cpi big bore in frame but noticed lots of oil residue in the fmf, I'm guessing he had pretty rich for break in, mods are 521 cheetah kit, v force 4 reeds, 38 or 39 pwk carbs with k&n pod filters, cpi in frame big bore exhaust, dynatek coil, c12 @ 40:1 castor 927, I'm at 3575 feet, haven't checked the jetting yet, just wondering if anyone with the same setup could help me with a starting point for jetting?
