  1. If it doesn't work.... I won't miss the $28. But I had to give it a shot, cause like I said I have a eBay stator in one of my 250's that still runs perfect to this day!
  2. Bought a cheapo off eBay to try, I've used one in the past with good results
  3. Well I ordered a new stator for it, then I'll go from there. Hoping it helps haha
  4. Looking for a good stator I think my quad is 95'+
  5. So I ohms tested my stator today, and the ignition coil was at about 25.5 ohms (when max is 20.5), pick up coil was within spec, and lightning coil was at 9.5-10 ohms (when max is 0.38) Could this cause my no spark condition? Took off the flywheel cover and noticed it was kind of rusty, is this an issue or normal for a quad of this year?
  6. Whoops I actually wanted to post this in the repairs section, can an admin please move this for me?
  7. Picked up this banshee for $500 last night, guy I got it from got it in a package deal and didn't want anything to do with it, anywho, quads pretty complete, I can tell it's been sitting a while, has bad gas, wiring is a bit iffy, worst of all no spark. Engine does have 125psi in each cylinder though, so that's a good starting point. Anyway I took off the tank and plastics to look over the wiring, under the tank there is a 3 way splice being bridged to another wire by wire nuts, any idea what this could be for? Also all key ignition wires were cut, so I put the 2 wires together however that did not give me spark, so there's still a problem somewhere. I've never trouble shot wiring on an atv before, so could someone give me a hand on where to start? What to look for? I would assume start at the stator then cdi then coil, but I do not know how to test these pieces. Here are some pictures:
